Gary & Maxine Silverstein – Owners
With nearly 80 years combined experience in the travel industry, Maxine and Gary Silverstein have an impressive partnership. Since acquiring Mann Travels in 1979, the Silversteins have built strong and loyal relationships with both their customers and their suppliers. These successful relationships – and providing consistent value to all customers – are the cornerstone of their business philosophy.

Mark Fletcher – Executive Vice President & General Manager
Mark has been dedicated to the travel industry since 1989, beginning his career in travel as co-owner of Anchors Away, a cruise only agency in Charlotte. in 1992, Anchors Away merged with Village Travel and Mark and his partners grew the company to 5 locations and became one of North Carolina's leading travel agencies with a focus on Corporate Travel and the growing cruise industry.

In 1998, Village Travel and Cruises was purchased by Mann Travels. The newly formed company became the largest privately owned travel agency in North and South Carolina. In 2006, Mark left his role as Vice President of Operations with Mann Travels to pursue a career in consulting for the travel industry. This consulting role took Mark throughout the country including two years in Michigan. In 2009, Mark returned to Mann Travels as Executive Vice President and oversees the entire operation.

Mark loves to travel and he traveled throughout the world including South America, Asia and Europe. He is an avid animal lover and supporter. Originally from Long Island, New York, Mark currently resides in Charlotte with his 2 cocker spaniels.

Marie Mosley - Director of Leisure Operations
Marie Mosley began her travel career with Liberty Travel in Buffalo, New York in 1988. She was a travel agent and branch manager with them before relocating to Charlotte in 1997. Marie served as the manager of our Davidson and Lake Norman locations before moving into her position as Director of Leisure Sales. She now overseas all of the leisure branch locations for Mann Travels as well as working with our valued travel partners in the industry.

Leigh-Ann Burroughs - Director of Corporate Operations
Leigh-Ann has over 20 years of travel industry experience which includes corporate travel management, accounting and information systems. Her current role as Corporate Operations Manager has her overseeing the Mann Travels corporate reservations staff, mid and front office technology and online solutions departments. Leigh-Ann combines her operations knowledge with her technical background in order to drive best practices within our organization towards the goal of exceeding our customer’s needs. Leigh-Ann has earned her Certified Travel Consultant designation (CTC) and looks forward to beginning her Certified Travel Industry Executive (CTIE) certification in 2009.

Ally Whalen- Director of Corporate Sales
Ally was born and raised in Vermont and moved to North Carolina in 1994 to continue her education in Textile Design and Marketing. She has over 12 years of experience in sales and marketing and has been a part of the Mann Travels team since January 2008.
